Domaine Pernot-Belicard is one of the new realities of Burgundy.
The Belicard estate has always sold the grapes to the negociant until Philippe Pernot took over the vineyards and the first vintage produced was 2009. Since then he has built an excellent reputation among his colleagues. The approach in the vineyard is through the lutte raisonnèe and no herbicides are used.
In the cellar the wines of the Domaine Pernot Belicard are vinified in the traditional way, by carrying out alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in a Burgundian piece (35% new), where they stay for a year. Before bottling the wines rest in steel tanks for a further six months.
